The BoatYard Waterfront Restaurant service was unbelievable, working with me on every request. The BoatYard Waterfront Restaurant venue is best sized for 50 or less guests. Perfect for a small beach wedding reception. Reception room has private bar and two walls of windows over looking the intercoastal and you can see the sunset over the water. Couldn't have asked for a better location.
The atmosphere is what sells the BoatYard Waterfront Restaurant.the food was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered grouper sandwich and chips - and the tartar sauce arrived looking a bit orange. Yep, it had been spiced.
I don't care for spicy with fish so asked for plain old, regular tartar sauce. "Our special sauce is all we have," I was told. Really??
Good thing they had malt vinegar. Everything else, foodwise, was passable...my companion ordered the ribs and was VERY pleased. Iced tea is $ 2.75 which (I think) is outrageous...but I'm sure we're paying for the view...
The BoatYard Waterfront overlooks beautiful Sarasota Bay with sailboats cruising through the drawbridge. You will see various birds soaring past as they caught the breezes off the water and appear as they are literally floating on air.
You can often hear a tugboat chugging south and then docking at a pier nearby The BoatYard Waterfront Restaurant. We were at the BoatYard Waterfront Restaurant for lunch but it's probably great for happy hour, too...and DO sit outside if there's any breeze at all...it's really what you're paying for!
Best thing about the BoatYard Waterfront Restaurant is the live band, which had everybody on their feet, dancing to great covers. Food is typical bar room fare. Can't give this dance place high marks as a restaurant, but it's a good meetup with friends.
Visited the Boatyard Waterfront Bar with my family. Sunday at 8 pm, not crowded. Jessica our waitress was great. Personable, friendly and vey helpful. Food was good. My wife and daughter had the lobster ravioli and were ver happy. Son the blackened grouper sandwich. Really enjoyed it.
My sons girlfriend and I had the The BoatYard Waterfront fish and chips. Healthy portions and really enjoyed the tartar sound. Had a bit of bite to it. Definitely would go back.
The food at The BoatYard Waterfront Grill was great! Had an appetizer of chicken nachos that three of us couldn't finish. Well worth the price and the drinks were good too!
The BoatYard Waterfront Restaurant deck overlooks the inlet and has a beautiful view. I wish I'd asked the waitresses name because she was a sweet, friendly and attentive professional. By the size of the crowd, I'd venture to say this place is a favorite. I'd definitely recommend it.
