Took our 2 teenagers to get pie and a strawberry daiquiri for myself while waiting for my husband who had something to do nearby. The pies were DELICIOUS... Key Lime pie and Turtle cake. My daiquiri was tasty and refreshing on this hot day. This was the first time we stopped at this location.
We saw a table of 8 next to us getting their food brought out to them and it ALL looked very fresh, smelled great and now we MUST come back next weekend to eat our lunch.
I looked over the menu and it must be one of the most affordable places in this area and in a GREAT location. It was right across street from the beach so we stopped their afterwards. It was a GREAT day! I will create a follow up feedback after we have our lunch next week to see if it is as good as it looked and smelled. :)
Ok for lunch. We ordered come fried clams and they were the larger size and pretty good but I wish I ordered something else to go along with it. The portion was big and after a few I just felt like I already had too many.
Too much friend food for me :) I loved the outdoor seating and the waitstaff was nice. It is nothing in the world of gourmet or fancy so if you are looking for a no frill place to get some food I would make a stop!;
For people staying in Siesta Key (or nearby) that are looking for something relatively close but outside of Siesta Village, this place is a good alternative.
It's about five miles from the Village. We went for HH/Early Bird Specials (3-6pm). Not sure if it was because we were there at an off time, but it was a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
The prices were very reasonable, although the portions were small. I had a Vodka club with a splash of cran for $5 and we split Nachos and Bang Bang Shrimp for $8 a piece.
There were 5 shrimp, which were perfect and delicious. The Nachos were excellent as well (the zesty salsa was a nice added touch), although for three hungry people, we could have used a bigger portion. We sat outside in the back, which overlooks the water.
It was a beautiful day, and people were renting canoes and taking them out. I unfortunately was only in Florida for the week, but my parents are down there for longer and will be returning again to have dinner and to take advantage of the Anniversary special menu. Definitely a great place to try, and it is right across the street from Turtle Beach
Sat outside with a party of 7 after a long day of playing in the sun... All 7 ordered something different, and everyone loved their dinner.
The drinks were stiff, and the portions perfect,oh and the peel and eat shrimp were AWESOME... The server was great and attentive and we all left more than satisfied, first time to Turtle beach and this pub... I will be going again!
Wow, what a great find. I can't believe how many times I've passed by this place and never noticed it. Located across the street from Turtle Beach Park, this is a great beach bar with good service and reasonably priced food. Got to love the blackened mahi-mahi and the fun beach music.
