Villa Gallace - Address: 109 Gulf Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach, FL 33785
Villa Gallace is the vision of Pompeo, Alice and Luigi Gallace who transformed a Circle K convenience store into a tantalizing taste of Italy. Pompeo Gallace, the patriarch of the Gallace Family was born in Calabria Italy and moved to New York in 1952.
After working in management for General Cinemas for over 20 years, Pompeo and his wife Alice moved to Florida and opened his first restaurant, Davinci’s. After eight years of owning and operating this pizza pasta emporium, Pompeo along with his wife Alice found a cozy little restaurant in Indian Shores, Florida which they named Gallace’s, which became quite successful. Approached by his son Luigi to possibly open another location, they found a closed Circle K located 3 miles north of the original restaurant and decided to call it home.
They named this waterfront pearl Villa Gallace, which translated, means The Gallace home. When you are there you feel like part of the Gallace family so the name fits. Villa Gallace is now known as one of Indian Rocks Beach’s premier Italian restaurants. Villa Gallace‘s culinary team is led by Chef Marcello Caravello, whose ancestry to Italian cuisine stems back several generations.
Villa Gallace's Chef Caravello was born in Italy, and it’s his expertise in the fine art of Italian cooking that has helped earn the restaurant its exceptional reputation.
Not only is Villa Gallace Restaurant a favorite among the local Indian Rocks Beach residents, but it has become a favorite to actors, politicians, sports figures and clergy as well. “Top 50 restaurants in Tampa Bay Florida”

Concierge recommendation for a good Italian restaurant near our hotel in Indian Rocks Beach. I was skeptical since I live in upstate New York and while our winters are miserable, our selection of really good Italian food is fantastic. My wife and I went that night and were blown away by the quality of the food, the warmth of the service, and the overall happiness of the crowd of diners. Several MLB guys with their families, including Don Zimmer, were there and the owner, Luigi, went to each table and struck up a real conversation (not the typical "how's your meal?" conversation). It was then that I decided if I'm within 50 miles of Indian Rocks Beach, I'd be going to Villa Gallace, and to this day, I've done just that. I've probably been about 10 times, and each time I love this place even more. I've had all types of dishes, but my favorite is the gnocchi (homemade) and veal parm. Every time I'm there Luigi says hello, remembers I'm from Syracuse, and strikes up a conversation about Syracuse sports. The man must see thousands of people come in and out of his restaurant, and the fact that he remembers me is nothing short of astounding. But, at the end of the day, it's the food that makes this place so special. There's love in this food. The freshness is visible and palpable. I most recently went a few days ago when in the area for business, and it was simply fantastic. If you are in the area and want a fantastic Italian meal with no pretentiousness or stuffiness, go to Villa Gallace. You will absolutely not be disappointed.
We took our 15 month old daughter to Villa Gallace, we were kind of nervous going into a nice Italian restaurant with her. The staff greeted us very warmly and reassured us that having a toddler in the restaurant was no problem. Zack our server was so friendly and took excellent care of us. It was truly some of the best service I've ever experienced. The food was amazing! We will definitely go back again!
Going here is like having your Italian uncle invite you for dinner! Villa Gallace is a family owned and very friendly. They absolutely made our special evening a night to remember! Veal and Chkn Parm were astounding and Waiter Zach picked the perfect dessert for us to share. He was fabulous.
So we wanted something other than seafood and walking distance so we speed in here. We had a three year old with us and the Villa Gallace was very accommodating to her. Sat us right away at 730pm. The host and server (server told us his name but I don't remember and asked us to rate them) were so great, friendly, happy and on point in service. I work in the server industry and this place had great service and food. So on to the food. Omg. Delicious. Enough said. Clams and linguine, veal meldore, eggplant rollotini, and chicken Bolasie where on our list, my daughter loved the cheese raviolis on the kids menu. You get a pretty mixed salad and penne as your side. It was the perfect amount of food. Beer and wine available and I recommend if you like red wine the pinot noir.
