Florida Marriage License

Florida Marriage License - ( List of Clerk of Court Florida ) 

Couples must obtain a Florida Marriage License in the State of Florida. The fee is paid to the clerk of court: The cost is normally $86.00. Our officiant will submit your license for legal recording following the ceremony.

Florida Resident: 

1.) Couple must go to clerk of court in the State of Florida to obtain their marriage license.

2.) A valid photo identification, such as a driver's license, state identification card, government or military identification card, or passport is required.

3.) A social security number is also required to obtain a marriage license.

4.) If either party was previously married and divorced, the date of the divorce will be required. If the date of the divorce was within the thirty days prior to the new application for a marriage license, a certified copy of the recorded final order will be required.

5.) There is a 3 day waiting period for Florida Residents.

Out of State Residents / US Citizens:

1.) If you are an out of state resident you may obtain your Florida Marriage License By Mail - contact us now for more information.

2.) You may also obtain your Florida Marriage License at any clerk of court in the State of Florida.

3.) Couple must have valid photo identification such as a driver's license, state identification card, government or military identification card, or a passport.

4.) There is no waiting period for out of state residents.

5. If either party was previously married and divorced, the date of the divorce will be required. If the date of the divorce was within the thirty days prior to the new application for a marriage license, a certified copy of the recorded final order will be required.

International Residents:

1.) You may obtain your Florida Marriage License by mail. Contact us for more information.

2.) You may also obtain your Florida Marriage License at any clerk of court in the State of Florida.

3.) Couple must have a valid photo passport.

4.) If either party is from a foreign country and not a U.S. citizen, alien registration documentation, or other proof which contains an alien registration number is acceptable to obtain a marriage license.

5.) If either party was previously married and divorced, the date of the divorce will be required. If the date of the divorce was within the thirty days prior to the new application for a marriage license, a certified copy of the recorded final order will be required.

6.) There is no waiting period for international residents.

7.) Most international countries require the bride and groom to register the license at the local registrar office or government agency, please check with your embassy / consulate or appropriate office.
