Sunset Beach on Treasure Island Florida is located at the southernmost tip of Treasure Island. Located in a mostly residential area between the tower of Mansions, by the Sea Condominiums, and beachfront homes, on the Gulf of Mexico, makes this an excellent beach wedding location.

A cool place to stay is Blue Waters on Sunset Beach. Blue Waters Beach Club is a cluster of one and two bedroom beach Cottages and Cabana Studios. This beautiful property offers a real slice of tropical Florida living at its best. This property is located on Sunset Beach, in Treasure Island, Florida. This quaint sought after peninsular neighborhood, is a beautiful one-mile stretch of beach with the intracoastal on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. Sunset Beach, in the Key West tradition, is comprised of eclectic beach homes and cottages, with local restaurants and shops within walking distance. This location area is family friendly with a casual atmosphere. You can take long walks on our white sandy beach or watch the breath taking sunsets. The area has a wonderful boardwalk, fishing dock, boat launch and a playground for children to enjoy. Our upscale cottages are newly redeveloped offering custom cherry kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, 12 foot ceilings, bamboo wood and imported tile flooring, crown molding and is truly luxurious. At the center of our cluster of cottages is a lovely courtyard, wonderful for grilling, picnicking or swimming in our wonderful heated pool. A great place for a fun reception by the pool.

The Rock Jetty at Sunset Beach is a favorite by brides for photo shoots and makes for spectacular sunset photography.

You will love the Sunset Beach Pavilion, which can be rented for morning and afternoon receptions. The Pavilion closes at dusk, so some couples choose to have the reception first then their sunset wedding after. This is also a nice alternative to host the ceremony if inclement weather persists. In the summer of 2014, Sunset Beach underwent an extensive beach dredging process to widen the beach by almost 100’. This makes an already good location even better.

There are three wedding sites at our Sunset Beach. One is directly behind the Sunset Beach Pavilion which is best if you have reserved the pavilion. The second is next to the rock jetty at the north end of the beach. And the third is at the very south end of the public beach by the wide access. Wedding site one and two offer sea oat lined Wooden Boardwalks. Its natural beauty and a remote Snowy Egret parking lot at 126th Avenue, add to the popularity of this wedding site.

With captivating sunset and the secluded ambiance make Sunset Beach our preferred location. The Lions Club is 1 mile north and a wonderful beachfront reception location.
